Jacobs a Cub Scout

I have never seen anyone as enthusiastic about anything in my life. Sister Hancock came over a few nights before Jacobs birthday and explained the cub scout program to us. She left a book with us which Jacob began reading that night. He passed off his bobcat requirements within like 2 days and was dying to attend a Den meeting. He loves his AKEELYA (den leaders) and although all his friends are in the den (5-6 boys), we've heard that he is the most attentive and respectful of them all. We had our first "Pack Party" a few weeks ago and it was fun for the whole family. We went on a "SAFARI" and hunted for animals in a dark park in our neighborhood. I nearly had a heart attack and may have pee'd myself when a HUGE GORILLA jumped out of a bush as a joke - eh ya - not funny.......... We're so proud of Jacob and his excitement to learn to be a better patriot and help those around him.

My Young Women had their night of excellence.

It was a lot of work but I was so proud of them

and how everything came together.

It's been an experience working with the girls

but a good one. It's stressful at times but I have

awesome counsellors and the girls always

seem to shine!
