Years ago Las Vegas had a Wet N Wild water park. Sam and I bought season passes and loved it. Baili was a little baby but we went quite often. A few times, my Mam came with us and it was always fun. They shut it down because they had only leased the land from the Sahara Casino on Las Vegas Blvd.
Well, this year they reopened. They built it far on the southwest side of town and we were getting tickets!!!!
The kids decided if we were gonna get season passes they would start selling stuff. We had a garage sale and sold a lot of stuff on the online garage sale. They did without treats and other things to save the money they would normally spend, for the Wet N Wild tickets.
Opening weekend was a big let down.... We started out, all excited to play for the day in the water and before we were even half way there, our friends, the Hancocks called and said they had closed the park off because it was so full! I guess Vegas was REALLY ready for a water park.
The following Tuesday, both Sarah Hanock and I took our kids out of school (oh yes we did) and were FIRST in line at the gates when they opened. The kids were so excited *see their faces* and we had an awesome time. Weve been back many times and love it.
