Birthday time with Lucy

Kami & Lucy have a special cousin friendship.  They play so well together and I think Kami treats Lucy like the little sister she doesn't have.  Lucy adores Kami and follows here wherever she goes and will pretty much play whatever Kami wants.  We missed Lucys birthday party this year so during the following week we took her on a birthday play date.  We went to Claires and looked at girly stuff, tried on sunglasses and accessories and bought Lucy a present.  She had so much fun doing girly stuff!  We will miss Lucy and her family when they move to Logan, Utah for school.  Even though we dont see each other much, its nice to know they are just across the freeway and we can get the girls together to play.

I always enjoy driving with my little co-pilot...Kami.  She always chats with me when were driving, telling me stories or asking me thought provoking questions.  She also loves to ask me to "turn on the music" on the radio and then she singss at the top of her lungs.  She's great company.

Baili is so creative!  I think its one of her greatest talents.  She loves music, art, photography & dance.  I always find her drawing or playing piano, teaching Kami a dance or creating a new game with younger kids. She impresses me with the things she comes up with and I am so proud when I hear her playing a new song on the piano or improving on one shes learning.  I'm blown away with how much she knows about technology....shes always showing me a new application on my iphone or on the computer.  She has excelled with the cello and had an opportunity to compete in California with her middle school orchestra.
She is pretty much AHhhhh-MAzing!

When paparazzi catch you

Kami is a funny little girl!  She is a drama queen.....literally should be on broadway.  Sometimes we catch her in the craziest of hyper moods, singing at the top of her lungs, laughing like a hyena or acting like an alter ego. Other times, especially when being disciplined, she will melt into tears and cry as if she just lost her favorite stuffed animal.  When shes tired she just passes out, anywhere....and like a zombie when you try to wake her up.  Exibit D - she is sleeping on the laundry room floor after I moved her from the van, fast asleep.  People always say she should be on stage - maybe someday she'll make us all rich.  These pictures depict our little "star"......oh how she lightens up our lives!!
