Jacob as 19th Century Crispus Attucks

Jacob had a history project at school and had to dress up as Crispus Attucks, a slave & seaman believed to be the first person shot during the Boston Massacre.  Jacob took the assignment very seriously as you can see! Hes awesome.....he came up with the entire costume by himself.

Great to be 8

Kami is getting baptized this year!  She is super excited and enjoyed learning more about what will happen at her baptism at the "great to be 8" fireside.

Les Mills BodyPump Training

Pretty much a life altering weekend of training to teach Body Pump with the Les Mills team, Jeremiah and David.  Amazing experiences and self evaluations!  They taught us so much about our ability to teach and motivate others as well as how much we have to offer as individuals.  My goal at the start of the weekend was to "become stronger"  by the end of the training I was not only lifting more than I thought I was capable of but I also felt stronger in my mind and how I viewed my strength.  I passed the evaluation and was passed to video tape myself teaching a class and submit that for approval.  Baby steps is how I'm viewing this process...but I'm excited about branching into a new format of fitness and to hopefully inspire others to improve their lives through fitness.

MMA

Ryan really wanted to try something new.  He enjoyed basketball with NJB but had been talking about "boxing" for a while.  We found a studio that had Mixed Martial Arts for kids.  One of the instructors is a friend of ours so Ryan was really excited to start learning.  He has been going 2-3 times a week doing, strike, JuJitsu and Judo.  He really enjoys it and it wears him out - which is always good for our busy body Ryan....lol

Split Kids

One of the applications the kids have on their phones is a split pic.  You can take two faces and merge them together.  Jacob and Kami pretty much are the same person...haha Baili and Ryan look a lot a like but make a strange looking child....people are always telling me how much the kids look alike, you can see it here.

Super Bowl 2013

Mandy & Lucas always host a killer SUPERBOWL party at their house.  Lots of great food and fun!  This year Jacobs team won - Balitmore Ravens....leaving Lucas a little upset when his 49ers lost....boo hooo!
