American Patriot

Jacob earned the GREAT AMERICAN AWARD in 5th Grade.  Although available to all students, only a handful of his grade actually took the challange,  They had to memorize a ton of patriotic things, such as, the Gettysburg Address, The Preamble to the Constitution &The Star Spangeled Banner (National Anthem), as well as a few other assignments.  It was not an easy challenge but Jacob is amazing....he's so dedicated, driven and determined!  Congratulations Jacob....so proud of you!

Bilbray tumbling

Kami took tumbling class all year long at school with Ms O.  She learned how to do a lot but most impressive was learning to do front and side splits.  She moved from the beginer to intermediate class and they had a performance at the end of the school year.  She was nervous and excited but as always, this little star shines.

Bailis Dance Performance

This was Bailis 2nd season of dancing Lyrical/Contemporary.  She really enjoys it and as with most all things she does, she does it well.  This was her first performance with Center Stage Dance Academy.  They got to dance at the Community College Performing Arts Theatre.  She did so well. 

Bilbray field day

I promise this blog is not dedicated to Ms Kami but she is always willing to let me take pictures of her - unlike the others!  Hopefully this will continue because I love having memories captured in pictures.

Pinewood Derby pack 803

Pinewood Derby time is always a stressful time for our family......the boys are excited but we are mostly nervous about how we're gonna make a competing car.  This year Ryans awesome leaders, Enrique & Anna Trevino helped out a ton with Ryans prep work for Pinewood Derby.  Annas dad came for one of their den meetings and helped the boys cut out their design.  Ryan also had some help from our good friend Val Hancock who seems to always step in at the eleventh hour to help us out.  Ryans car did great at the derby, coming in 3rd in his den.  Most importantly he had a good time.

Birthday time with Lucy

Kami & Lucy have a special cousin friendship.  They play so well together and I think Kami treats Lucy like the little sister she doesn't have.  Lucy adores Kami and follows here wherever she goes and will pretty much play whatever Kami wants.  We missed Lucys birthday party this year so during the following week we took her on a birthday play date.  We went to Claires and looked at girly stuff, tried on sunglasses and accessories and bought Lucy a present.  She had so much fun doing girly stuff!  We will miss Lucy and her family when they move to Logan, Utah for school.  Even though we dont see each other much, its nice to know they are just across the freeway and we can get the girls together to play.

I always enjoy driving with my little co-pilot...Kami.  She always chats with me when were driving, telling me stories or asking me thought provoking questions.  She also loves to ask me to "turn on the music" on the radio and then she singss at the top of her lungs.  She's great company.

Baili is so creative!  I think its one of her greatest talents.  She loves music, art, photography & dance.  I always find her drawing or playing piano, teaching Kami a dance or creating a new game with younger kids. She impresses me with the things she comes up with and I am so proud when I hear her playing a new song on the piano or improving on one shes learning.  I'm blown away with how much she knows about technology....shes always showing me a new application on my iphone or on the computer.  She has excelled with the cello and had an opportunity to compete in California with her middle school orchestra.
She is pretty much AHhhhh-MAzing!
